Around Everest, like never before
05/08/2012
See the Everest region like you've never seen it before...from one of our permanent camp sites!
* After a thrilling day of trekking, relax in the comfort of one of our new permanent camp sites located on the trail to Everest Base Camp and up the Gokyo Valley to Gokyo Village.
* Established camp sites have spacious tents erected with beds made, composting toilets, hand basins and a windowed dining room with eco friendly heating and marvelous views.
* Yummy and varied breakfasts & dinners are complimentary and served inside the dining room (lunch served on the trail) and are included in your trip price and created by our chefs using the surrounding village's local produce injecting money directly back into the community.
* A SUSTAINABLE TOURISM ALTERNATIVE! Our permanent camp sites offer an excellent solution to the region's deforestation challenges. The wood to build our dining rooms has been imported from sustainable forests in India, the stoves are designed to burn an eco friendly fuel, the water is sourced from rainfall and stored in rainwater tanks. Staying true to our belief that camping is the most sustainable approach to adventure travel and that it is a wonderfully exciting alternative to car hire and hotel holidays whether you're a single, a couple, a family or a group of friends, colleagues or work mates...a true adventure in every sense!
If you’re new to adventure travel and have always wondered about the Everest Region, join us to experience how truly remarkable this region of Nepal is and with the knowledge you are supporting a truly sustainable trekking program.
