Tanzania Safari

The three day safari in Tanzania was wonderful in its own way and restful for the Kilimanjaro climbers. We saw many animals, birds and different landscapes. The tour leader was very obliging and I am sure he went to extra trouble for us – the lodge accommodation was really very, very good.

The Weather in Slovakia

Slovakia generally experiences for warm summers (with the occasional shower) and cold, snowy winters.

Our cycling trips run between March to October during the European Spring, Summer & Autumn. The months of June – August are
busy times with temperatures ranging between 5-18 in Spring and Autumn, and 15 - 25 degree Celsius in summer (sometimes higher).

The weather in the High Tatra usually has an element of unpredictability. You can expect a mix of warm sunny days sometimes punctuated by cooler rainy weather. You should always be prepared for sudden changes in weather while you are out on the trail. In September daytime temperatures can range from cool early mornings of 6 - 15 degrees Celsius to warm daytime temperatures of 18 – 25 degrees Celsius. Rainstorms can drop the temperature dramatically, rainy days at lower elevations mean snow at higher elevations. You should take your raingear every day, regardless of the weather conditions when you leave your hut in the morning
