Everest Base Camp

I just got back from the Nepal trip. We had an amazing time and we could have not asked for a better experience. Our group was brilliant. The staff (porters and Sherpas) were phenomenal, the food was top notch and the views were everything I hoped for and more...I know I will be back there again. The people and places are very close to my heart now.

Thank you for making my dream come true.

Germany

Germany

Germany's northern lowlands stretch from the Netherlands to Poland, past southern Denmark where it bridges the North and Baltic seas. The magnificent Rhine and Main Rivers, cut through the Central Uplands. To the south, the infamous Danube River runs from the Black Forest, near France & Switzerland, to Munich.

German forests are studded with beech, oak, birch, chestnut, lime, maple and ash trees.  They are beautiful places to escape the crowds and walk or hike and relax. Alpine regions are home to wildflowers – orchids, cyclamen, gentians, pulsatilla, alpine roses, edelweiss and buttercups. We urge our travellers to stick to the paths, especially in alpine areas and coastal dunes where ecosystems are fragile.

The Weather in Germany

Germany is a fine destination year-round, but sunny weather is more likely between May and September.

Remember that rain is a possibility in any month.  In April and May, when flowers and fruit trees are in bloom, it can be mild and sunny. Indian summers that stretch well into autumn are not uncommon.

Between November and early March weather tends to be gloomy and it often drops below freezing. There are only six to eight hours of daylight. In December the sun sets around 3:30pm.
