Annapurna Trek

This was my second time to Nepal with World Expeditions and previously trekked to Mardi Himal Base Camp. This trip I saw it through my fiancé’s eyes and it gave me such joy to see her so engaged with the culture and natural beauty of Nepal. From being a little apprehensive she has, through the whole WE and Nepalese experience, been converted to an adventure traveller. Ramesh and the team made us feel so special at Christmas and baked all of us a cake for Christmas Eve. A Christmas filled with so much joy and spirit – very special indeed.

I have already started to look at the latest brochure and planning future treks and have been reading with interest about the work you have been undertaking on the camp sites in the Everest region. Congratulations on such a great initiative. As the Head of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability for one of Australia’s largest property groups (DEXUS Property Group) I take a keen interest in the work that you do in this area.

Yasawa Islands Sea Kayaking - Fiji

The Yasawa Islands are a sea kayaker's delight - a region of sparkling azure waters and white sandy beaches fringed by pristine coral reefs. For six days we paddle in modern expedition-style kayaks through the remote islands of the Northern Yasawas. We follow an itinerary dictated by the winds and the tides. During the trip we will stop at uninhabited beaches to enjoy picnic lunches and snorkel in the clear South Pacific water. We will kayak for three to four hours each day, leaving plenty of opportunity for swimming, visiting nearby traditional villages or just relaxing in a timeless tropical ambience. Camp each night will be on a pristine beach or near a traditional Fijian village where the friendly local people are always happy to share their culture, traditions and history.

Brief Itinerary

DAY 1 Join Nadi, Fiji, overnight hotel
DAY 2 Boat to Yasawa Islands, commence sea kayaking
DAYS 3/7 Kayaking the island chain
DAY 8 Morning snorkel, boat to Nadi, trip concludes
