How You Can Donate
The World Expeditions Foundation is a registered foundation, however we are currently in the process of applying to AusAid (the Australian Government’s Overseas Aid program) for DGR status, which would enable all donations over $2.00 to be tax deductible. For the time being however, any donations made are not tax deductible, but we confirm that the full amount of your donation will be directed to the current project/s being funded.

Criteria for Project Selection
- The following criteria have been set for the selection of the project.
- Does the community receive inadequate government funding?
- Is the project based on a real local need?
- Is the project ongoing and long lasting?
- Is the project suggested by local people?
- Is the project funded jointly with local people? (this transfers skills, ensures longevity and encourages the community to 'own' it)
- Can we provide an independent report on the benefits of the project to local people?
