The knowledge of the guides was brilliant and really made the trip a great success. The effort they put into everything from our safety to dessert was amazing - I am very impressed. This walk was above and beyond all of my expectations!

Getaway is the sponsor of our Thubten Chholing Monastery project in the Solu Khumbu region and visited the village to speak with the local spiritual leaders about how the project will address a waste management problem and to experience how community project travel works.
While there, Getaway also filmed our popular and ongoing Kushudebu Public Health Mission project, giving intending travellers an idea of what’s involved .
