Mont Blanc Ascent

Firstly may I just say I absolutely loved the Mont Blanc trip, and when talking to the other climbers who had gone with other agencies, our trip had the best mix of mountain huts, walks and training, so thank you, it really was superb.

Treasures Of Libya

Libya, wedged between Egypt, Tunisia and the Mediterranean Sea was occupied at various times by the Roman, Greek, and Byzantine civilizations. Their legacies are a series of magnificent ruins and antiquities that are strewn throughout the old towns and Saharan landscapes. Our journey begins in Tripoli from where we'll enjoy such archaeological sites as Sabratha, the ancient Greek city of Cryrene and Leptis Magna - arguably the finest Roman ruins outside of Rome. We plunge deep into Libya's desert to camp amid infinite landscapes and striking rocky outcrops where it is possible to see the nomadic Tuareg who have for centuries traded across the desert landscapes by camel. Continuing on to the beautiful Acacus region that is characterized by sandstone plateaus that have eroded into hundreds of complex rock formations and wadis, we explore caves that are home to rock art paintings that date back 10,000 years. For the history buff this journey will not fail to inspire.
