Annapurna Trek

What an absolutely wonderful time we had on the Annapurna Trek ...The WE staff and especially Dilli the tour leader were great. I can’t speak highly enough of them. Dilli was very knowledgeable, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The cook did a great job. The food was plentiful and tasty.

From the time we left home until the time we got back everything ran smoothly. Even the weather was good. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Nepal and hope to get back there in the future...I have no hesitation in recommending WE to friends.

Annapurna Circuit

This trail was first opened in 1977 and is a classic Himalayan trek. Our new itinerary completes the Circuit with a few new variations that will enhance this magnificent trek. We ascend the Marsyandi Valley before heading to the wild, windswept 5416m Thorong La (pass) and around the Annapurna massif. This trek offers startling contrasts throughout. The trails start and end in the lush green foothills of the Annapurna range that are dotted with Hindu villages. As we trek north of the Great Himalayan Divide there is a dramatic change as we enter the stark landscape of the Tibetan Plateau where the culture becomes predominantly Buddhist. We then head back down the great Kali Gandhaki Valley, said to be one of the deepest gorges on earth with Annapurna and Dhaulagiri towering some 7,000 metres above before returning to Pokhara where we complete our exhilarating trek.
